You will see icicles hanging down from the ice wall and the water will get deeper turn left and dive down under the ice. Keep going until you pass roots in the water, avoiding collision. You'll need just a single fragment, and while they can also be found in the Koppa Mining Site and Twisty Bridges, we haven't yet discovered Outpost Zero.įrom your Drop Pod, head northward until you come to the place you started the game, next to a wall of ice. You'll need to build the Snowfox Hoverpad with the Habitat Builder as well. The next step in building the Snowfox is the Habitat Builder, which is used to make many exterior and base modules, rooms, and other items. You should be able to harvest at least four Magnetite. You'll find an Ion Cube you can pick up, and in the cracks of the glacier walls you'll find Silver, Gold and Magnetite. Once inside, you'll want to use a Headlamp or the light from your Seaglide to light the way. You can make a pit stop in this cave for Fevered Peppers if you need to stay warm, but otherwise, turn left and wind up the next portion of the ramp.īeyond this opening you'll find a ladder.
After scanning the Hoverpad, turn left out of the Robotics Center and head up the ramp to the cave area. Snowfox fragments can be found nearby as well. If you aren't sure where the center is, return to the Finding Phi Robotics Landing Pad page. When you enter the big open door at the Phi Robotics Center, turn to your left and you'll see the hoverpad. Note that our guide writer already scanned the one below so it's not highlighted/scannable, but yours will be if this is your first playthrough or after you start a new game. The Hoverpad fragment is found inside the Phi Robotics Center. There was one fragment we scanned while Finding Marguerite's Seabase, but there are more you can scan while Finding Phi Robotics Landing Pad. Several meters left of the area's Tree Spires entrance is a tunnel leading to the Crystal Caves.It will be much easier to navigate snowy land terrain with a Snowfox, an on-land glider. A Data Box containing the Water Filtration Suit blueprint, and a Spy Pengling Fragment can be found located on a terrace below the base. Multiple Thermal Spires and Tree Spires can also be found around the area, populated by Glowing Coral Shelfs, and Tree Spires Purple Coral. The sea floor is littered with flora native to the Tree Spires, and near it is an entrance to the aforementioned biome. The cave's ceiling is overrun by clusters of Hiveminds and Lilypad Roots, as well as an entrance to the Lilypads Crevice. The area consists of an open cave with a large mound protruding from the floor, which the base is located on. The base's surroundings bleeds into the Lilypads Crevice and Tree Spires biomes, as shown by the nearby Flora and terrain. After this, it is possible to enter and scan the Fridge, Shower, Sink and Toilet, as well as pick up a PDA log. It remains there until the quest to sabotage the Communications Tower is completed. Initially, the player is blocked from entering the second Large Room by Marguerit Maida's pet Snow Stalker laying in front of the door. There's also a Reaper Leviathan skull hung on a wall. The first Large Room contains a built Seatruck Perimeter Defense Upgrade, a Snowfox Fragment and the Test Override Module Fragment. Entry to the base is via a Bulkhead that separates the Moonpool from the base's interior, and it will be open after the player encounters Marguerit Maida at Delta Island. The structure overall has a grimy and dishevelled exterior, and a dark and cluttered interior filled with hunting trophies, personal effects and partially dismantled equipment. The base consists of two interconnected Large Rooms, one with a Glass Dome roof, and a Moonpool containing Marguerit Maida's Prawn Suit connected by a right-angle section of corridor.
